Out of the two halves of sandwich
One is bigger than the other.
(You didn't realize this at first)

The larger half had received
The majority of the additions.
(Which makes the smaller one plain)

So that smaller portion had seemed
Less appetizing at first,

Is now the best thing you had all day.
